SCRANTON, PA — The Garden of Cedar has sprouted for spring a new colorful street-art spectacle that some observers say resembles the vintage video game Tetris. The display, featuring vintage ceiling tiles painted and paired in patterns, is the latest project of Frank Dubas, president of the nonprofit Garden of Cedar community lot at 715 Cedar Ave. in South Scranton. Dubas painted a bunch of old, distressed tin ceiling tiles in vibrant shades of red, orange, yellow, green, purple, and light and dark blue. He installed them vertically in geometric patterns interspersed throughout the garden’s meandering, raised planting beds.
